  5. I spent the week finishing up final edits so I didn't log any new words, but I'm ahead on the overall word goal. So.... phew!

  7. I'm ahead on my overall goal, thank goodness, becuase I wrote barely 700 words this week. Since I'm going to retreat, I have every confidence that I'll exceed it this week :-)

  8. I've written 4000 words since the challenge began. Besides, I need to win! My too-cute-to-give-away new puppy just chewed up my copy of The Stranger She Married on the day I got home from camp. DeAnn Huff

  9. I wrote 1,500 words this week. So not my norm, but definitely an up from the previous week when I wrote nothing. All together I'm at 8,600 words for the summer. No more slacking for me. If I want to finish this novel before the end of summer, I have to get to work! :) Happy writing ya'll!
