That's code for fun! |
CODE WORD
CREATIVITY
Create a secret
code. You can use it to play games with your kids or you can use it in a story,
either way the process of creating it will open your imagination.

Writing Sprint
(Use the sentence as inspiration for a story)
One fire, three exploded frogs, and the incident with newts, not bad for her first day of teaching magic.
Let's get the mojo going.
Set your timer for 15 minutes
and write fast & furious.

Do NOT trust your memory! |
WRITE IT DOWN
I’ve learned the
hard way that you have to have a notebook and pen handy at all times. When
inspiration hits you need to get the idea down stat. Do not, I repeat do NOT,
tell yourself, “I don’t need to write this down, I’ll remember it later.” You
won’t.
Keep a notebook
or your cell phone by your bed so you can write down impressions or ideas that
come to you in the night. Some of them will stink but they can lead you to
bigger, better ideas.
