Day 17, Thursday, March 17th

Writivation

In a flash of amazing writing, you feel the brilliance flowing through you. Agents will fall all over themselves to represent you. You’ll have to choose which publisher’s offer to take, and make decisions on how to spend those advances and royalty checks that will be coming for decades.

Readers will flock to buy your books; they’ll be on best seller lists for years, get published in multiple languages, receive thousands of five star reviews on Amazon, and be studied by students for years.

You’ll enjoy celebrity status on book tours, be invited for TV and radio interviews.
Producers will clamor for movie rights. Famous actors will audition to play your main characters. Musical scores will be written. Just roll with it. JM Clark

Creativity Kick-Starter
That's code for fun!
CODE WORD CREATIVITY

Create a secret code. You can use it to play games with your kids or you can use it in a story, either way the process of creating it will open your imagination.

Writing Sprint
(Use the sentence as inspiration for a story)

One fire, three exploded frogs, and the incident with newts, not bad for her first day of teaching magic.

Let's get the mojo going.
Set your timer for 15 minutes
and write fast & furious.

Productivity Pointers
Do NOT trust your memory!
WRITE IT DOWN
I’ve learned the hard way that you have to have a notebook and pen handy at all times. When inspiration hits you need to get the idea down stat. Do not, I repeat do NOT, tell yourself, “I don’t need to write this down, I’ll remember it later.” You won’t.

Keep a notebook or your cell phone by your bed so you can write down impressions or ideas that come to you in the night. Some of them will stink but they can lead you to bigger, better ideas.
