Day 28, Monday, March 28th

Writivation

If you don't have one already, YOU NEED A WRITING BUDDY!

A writing buddy will follow up with you on your writing goals -- daily, weekly, (whatever you agree on) and will encourage and keep you moving over the rough spots

A buddy will help evaluate your work, and make suggestions, if you want them, but, a true writing buddy is more than a critique partner. You are there to lift and support each other.

Seriously, if you don't have one, GET ONE. Reach out today to others in the SCWF group, or ANWA, or other places! You could post on FB that you're looking for one, or message someone.

Trust me on this one: It will make a tremendous different in your writing and productivity. REACH OUT TODAY!  J.M. Clark

Creativity Kick-Starter
MEDITATE

Quiet time is hard to come by but it’s essential for both our spirituality and our creativity. Even five minutes per day of silent communion with the Spirit will improve our mood, open us to direction, and enable us to work more efficiently.

ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT
It’s hard to admit, but there are times when our progress, creative and otherwise, is limited by our attitude. Writing is so much harder when we believe it’s hard. Finding an agent or boosting our sales cannot succeed if we doubt it in our heart.

It’s time to change our perspective. Time to believe in possibilities. Time to put our faith in Heavenly Father and let him guide. When we do that our attitude will automatically improve and our work will grow easier.

Return & Report

How are you doing? What are your goals for this week?
Do you have a writing buddy? If not, did you reach out to find one?

  1. You ladies have done such a great job with this writing challenge. Although my writing time got hijacked by putting our house back on the market and all that goes with that, I have been inspired and I will not give up writing. Thank you.
